Given the cleaning supplies, toiletries, towels, and other knickknacks we keep in the bathroom, it’s inevitable for clutter to take over in an instant. If you only have a tiny T&B, the challenge becomes harder since you can only place your storage units under the sink, in slim corners, and install shelves on the walls. Don’t let a couple of problems stop you from achieving an organized and inviting private space. Let these ideas from our featured condo homes inspire you:

Choose customized shelves with pretty brackets.

To complete this bathroom, design consultant Grace Moslares decided to install customized shelves supported by Barcelona shelf brackets from Vintage Hardware. These shelves are ideal when storing towels, bottles, and other catchalls. Since these are cubby shelves, you can keep and organize more of your belongings without the risk of dropping these in the toilet.

Keep it streamlined.

For a sleeker alternative, work with open shelves. Use it to display scented candles, potted plants, and pretty bottles that can double as décor.

Look under your sink.

Do you have a console sink? If the space under the actual sink is free, you can add small bins where you can keep extra hand soaps, toilet paper, and hand towels. In any room, every inch of space counts—the tiniest of corners can be turned into potential storage nooks.

Ladders are in.

Towel ladders and ladder shelves come in handy for various organizing needs. If you keep and dry your towels in the bathroom, a towel ladder is a must-have. Simply prop it against the wall, hang your towels neatly, and you’re good to go.

Those who keep magazines, baskets, and other items in the T&B may opt for a sturdier ladder shelf with more tiers to accommodate your things.

Squeeze in a small table under your sink.

If you have tons of products to organize and you keep your skin care arsenal in the bathroom, a compact table that can fit under the sink is perfect. Make sure it won’t get wet and that your essentials are carefully organized to make it easier for you to get what you need and return what you used.
