Create an orderly appearance by grouping similar items together. Separate each grouping by organizing the merchandise on tables or containers. You may place books in one area, and kitchen and dinnerware on top of a table or on a single shelf. Keep shoes in a couple of bins and display fashion accessories on one surface. By doing this, customers can look through the items easily.
RL Tip: Position related items such as clothing and jewelry, beside each other. Add a mirror so customers can try on the pieces.
Part of a pop-up store’s charm comes from how eye-catching the display is. Instead of laying necklaces and bracelets flat on the table, slip them onto the necks of empty wine bottles. Place clothing on hangers and on racks so they won’t get wrinkled. For home items like dinnerware, display them as you would in your home so that customers can appreciate the pieces better.
RL Tip: Bring out small bowls for rings, and secure pairs of earrings on thin cardboard pieces or framed silk screen.
Even small, random items can be neatly presented when they are placed in bins. Use bins that have wide openings for convenience. Use similar colors to pull the items together. Locate them near the “cashier’s” area and create a sulit corner for customers’ impulse buying on their way out.
