Start by grabbing a spare laundry basket (or a big box, if you don't have an extra hamper), then walk around your place and drop everything that isn't in the proper spot in it. Whatever is taking up space where it doesn't belong, chuck it in your basket.
This is a quick way, almost like magic, to make your home look cleaner therefore clearing your mind in the process. If you're riding on that clean space feeling, take it a step further by putting everything back where it needs to go. With much neater surroundings, you'll be able to recharge better.
