Genius Ways To Organize Your Lipstick Collection

There's no such thing as having too many tubes!

I have a lot of lipstick—I don’t have over a hundred bullets, but it’s safe to say I own more than the average girl. If you’re like me, you would know that it can be quite a challenge to craft an effective storage system. Since we own a ridiculous amount in our collection, we need to resort to cute and easy ways to organize them so we can always find what we need in a snap—and besides, lipsticks make cute decor, too.

If you have quite a few tubes that come in beautiful packaging, consider storing them in a clear acrylic tower so you can showcase them on your vanity. Arrange them by brand or by color to keep the look clean.

RL Tip: Order your own rotating lipstick holder from Zahra Beauty

For those who have a bigger loot (and willing to splurge a little), invest in a nail polish holder that you can hang up near your makeup corner. This allows you to store a lot more tubes or bottles—and even a few palettes, too!

If your stash is about to cross the line to hoarding (a girl needs her options!), a bar cart may come in handy. Organize the shades you rarely wear on top to get more use out of them, your favorites on the second one for easy access, and items you're trying out on the lowest bin.

A hanging plastic shoe organizer makes a great lipstick holder as well! Finding your color of the day may be a bit of a challenge with this system, but it's a surefire way to keep your vanity or bathroom counter neat.

This industrial-inspired holder made from copper tubes and Plexiglass is perfect for a minimal collection. If you want to make your own custom piece, you can click here for a step-by-step guide.
