3 Ways To Display China Without A Cabinet

It doesn't have to take up floor space!

Whether you got it as gifts on your wedding day or it was handed down to you by your grandmother, chances are you own a set or two of fine China.

These pieces are very valuable, so for those of us who don't own a proper China cabinet, we tend to store them away for safekeeping. However, we think that it takes up a lot of storage space and you're wasting perfectly good home décor. Do not be afraid to showcase these pieces around the home! Here are easy ideas that you can work on:

If you have a lot of matching sets, you can try individual installations. Mount small, floating shelves and group your China by color or print family. Not a fan of the uniformed look? Go for unexpected combinations. As long as you're happy with the result, feel free to do whatever you like.

Do you want to go for something a little more Shabby chic? Try putting up a porcelain collage. Hang cute and pastel-hued pieces on the wall using adjustable brackets. Create different shapes for an interesting and modern look.

Consider wall decals for a new twist. If you've already got China up on display, you can spruce it up a bit by experimenting with designs that go well with what you already have. In this photo, a nature-inspired theme was achieved by mixing and matching florals and avian prints.
