From soap scum to candle smoke and growing grout mold (we can list so much more!), the bathroom—a place where we get ourselves clean—isn't always the best smelling part of the home.

It's also constantly humid in this room because of all the showers, baths and washing we do, therefore, moisture is always present. Every seasoned homeowner knows that dampness is synonymous to foul odors.

Aside from cleaning your bathroom consistently, there's one thing you can do to keep your T&B smelling fresh: Every time you use it, air it out.

It's quite simple! When you're done, leave the door ajar or if you showered, leave the curtain pushed open to help air out the excess humidity. If you have a fan in there, make sure to turn it on to help any funky smells disperse faster, too.

Trust us, with constant practice, you might be able to cross out deodorizer on your grocery list soon!
