6 Steps to a Clean and Stylish Kitchen
Achieve a spotless space with this handy list of must-dos
Do you love cooking but often dread the cleaning part? You can make it easier with the help of a few easy steps. Enjoy a productive weekend with the help of this guide:
Start with the pantry. Check your supplies and see which items are nearing their expiration date. Label them accordingly so you'll know which ones are to be consumed as soon as possible. Items that are way past their shelf life should be discarded as well.
Empty your cabinets and shelves. Don't allow dust and cobwebs to takeover your storage units! Wipe them using a damp cloth and a baking soda cleaning mixture. Once dry, you may put back and arrange your supplies and utensils inside.
Don't forget to clean the refrigerator and rid it of bad odors! Wupe the interiors of your ref using homemade cleaners. You may also leave pieces of charcoal on a small plate to remove the bad smell.
Clean your other appliances such as the coffemaker, toaster, and microwave, to name a few. Read and review the manuals of each so you can clean it efficiently without damaging the items.
Since the kitchen is a busy area, don't forget to clean the floors. Sweep the entire space using your trusty walis tambo then mop the floors.
Lastly, feel free to decorate your kitchen, too! Consider adding a tray with a few decor pieces on the counter. Hang an artwork to spruce up one wall and add potted plants to add a refreshing touch as well!
