4 Tips to Make Dishwashing Easy

You won't hate this chore anymore!

Isn’t it annoying to see piles of dirty dishes on the sink after a party? Or you want to go straight to bed after dinner, but nilagang baka has left hard-to-remove grease on your plates? No need to stress out—here are tips to help you go through dishwashing with ease:

1. Wear rubber gloves.

This will help you with your grip on your porcelain plates, lessening the possibility of dropping and breaking them. You’ll also protect your hands and nails from chemicals present in your dishwashing liquid.

2. Be equipped with the right sponges.

Use a sponge for non-stick pans, porcelain, or dinnerware made of glass. Meanwhile, use scrub pads to clean kitchenware and utensils made of metal and stainless steel. When cleaning bottoms of pans or any surface that needs heavy cleaning, use a metal scrubber. Have these ready by your sink before you start washing.

3. Let your plates dry on a rack before stacking them inside your cabinet.

Have a wooden or stainless steel dish rack next to the sink where you can put newly washed plates in to dry. And before putting them inside your cabinet, do a quick wipe on your plates to make sure that they are free from moisture.

4. Line your sink with rubber.

This keeps your dishes, bowls, and glasses from breaking should they slip from your hands. If you don’t have a rubber lining, a regular wash cloth will do.
