3 All-Natural Ways To Keep Your Home Smelling Fresh

Say goodbye to strong dizzying scents

Pungent odors are never fun to deal with. Especially during the summer time, they become harder to deal with from all the moist shoes and sweat-drenched clothes we bring home at the end of the day.

Normally, our quickest solution would be to use canned air fresheners to let the stink go running. Unfortunately, these products use aerosols and toxic substances that can be harmful to our family.

Don't worry, there are organic alternatives to these chemical-based sprays. We've listed down some tips and tricks you can try to keep your home allergy-free!

Light Bulbs

Did you know that an ordinary light bulb can help you deodorize your home? All you have to do is rub some essential oils onto the surface of the bulb. When you turn it on, the heat will diffuse and emit a refreshing smell.

RL Tip: Citrus and floral scents work best for this tip.

To create a relaxing ambience at home after a long day at work, fill the diffuser with water and add in a few drops of your favorite scent. Lavender and lemon oils are the most soothing options you can try.

Tea Leaves

If you have pets, specifically cats, you probably have a funky litterbox laying around the house. To neutralize the smell, mix tea leaves with the kitty litter. The tea leaves help kill the bacteria, too.
