Ranking 10th in the Philippine Interior Design Board Examination was a fitting start to his career. Instead of letting this get to his head, Jigs knew that for excellence to be reaped, he needed to further his skills. For almost five years, he underwent an extensive training at the Nardy Aquino Interior Design Studio, one of the country’s leading design firms. It was through this experience that he developed his skills in creating and presenting floor plans, perspectives and other working drawings. Up to this day, Jigs’s clients are able to receive hand-drawn renderings of his designs, providing a more intimate and sincere service.

When it was time for him to venture out into his own practice, he capitalized on his design principle of creating timeless and sophisticated design. Equipped with almost six years of training under Ethan Allen, he developed a knack for the classic, elegant look that is chic and warm at the same time.

A continued search for excellence later led him to find another niche to fill in in the design arena. Like zeitgeist that dawned on him, he specialized in space planning and ergonomic designs. His keen eye for details and proportions helped him create intelligent tailored designs. This has soon captured loyal clients, entrusting him with multi-million peso design projects.

It didn’t take long before the industry finally recognized Jigs’s exceptional skills. In 2011, he was recognized as one of the PSID 10 Iconoclasts. This elevated him to an iconic status that further defined him as the designer that demonstrates design excellence.

Today, Jigs’s career is ever-soaring and expanding. His new office at LRI Design Plaza marks another milestone to his career as he opens the AdOr Interiors featuring unique and innovative accessories for the market.

Being very good at maximizing space, Jigs has been known for transforming high end condominiums, townhouses and loft spaces into a roomy and functional space. With his versatility, he also designs commercial spaces from concept to installation.

Jigs hopes to share his passion and knowledge of interior design.  For him, it is a world that can never have enough room for continuous learning experience. He still upholds the value of striving for excellence despite already making it big in the industry. His projects have already been featured in Urbanzone,MyHome, CondoLiving, Cocoon and Philippine Star, among several other media outfits.
