Stephanie Loren Tan is a young Filipino Interior Designer who graduated cum laude from the BS Interior Design program of the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She took and passed her PRC Licensure Examination for Interior Design in 2007. She is now the owner and Design Director of ISTEP TAN Interior Design & Productions.

Steph started her career as an Interior Designer in a well-known firm in the Philippines who is famous for their stylish and elegant residences. She also worked with a renowned architectural company where she got in-depth experience in high-rise and commercial interiors.

Steph then ventured into Retail and Events Design and got a chance to work with brands such as Skechers, Ecko Unltd., and Zoo York. She handled the, then recently launched, sub-brands of Skechers such as Shape-ups, Tone-ups, and Punkrose.

She became the youngest Interior Design Manager in a prestigious Interior Design, Architecture, and Urban Planning Firm based in Ho Chi Minh City. She lead the Interior Design arm of the company with her known strengths as a maximizer, leader, and activator. Steph was then given an opportunity to work with a private Interior Design Firm in Beijing, China and was given the chance to work with top hotel companies like Shangri-la, Trader's Hotel, SLIM, Kerry Hotels, and Fairmont Hotels.

Steph is also into other forms of art like photography, visual merchandising, and graphic arts which she incorporates into her concepts and designs. She likes to travel, explore different cultures, and meet new people. Steph believes that the design profession gives her the power to change the face of the world and this is what drives her passion for design.
