Monserrat Muros is an avant-garde, impressionist and collage artist. She was raised in an "artistic" environment with her artist father, Herman Muros, influencing her early years. What began as a child's play, her initial scribbles with charcoal pencils paved the way to her art exploration all through her primary and secondary education years. In 2010, she graduated Fine Arts major in BS Interior Design in University of Santo Tomas and passed her board examination on October 2011.

As an artist, her primary influence is Vincent Van Gogh as reflected in her works. Her training in interior designing enabled her to explore other art forms and create a convergence of avant-garde, impressionism and collage art. She started joining several exhibits and workshops as her stepping stone towards exploration for further studies. She went under the apprenticeship of Artist Othoniel M. Neri. Sharing her God-given talent and knowledge, she was invited as an Art teacher of second year college seminarians at Christ the King Mission Seminary as her part time job for six months in 2012.

As a designer, her style has wide range but with common ground: doses of elegance and sophistication with tailored but comfortable furnishings. She’s fond of well-proportioned and graceful details, full-length draperies and over-scaled accent graphic wallpaper. Textures like silk, faux fur, animal prints, floral and geometric patterns. Mostly of Contemporary mixes with Period Styles, Eclectic and Industrial design, she gravitates toward Renaissance, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Revival, and Colonial influences. At present, she works as an Interior Sales Designer at Blims Fine Furniture where she explores and expresses her style as a Showroom Designer that assists and provides design consultation to clients in furnishing wide range of spaces such as condominiums, residences and offices.
