Mary Kathlyn Maala-Villapando finished a degree of Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts, Major in Interior Design at the College of the Holy Spirit—Mendiola, Manila.

She took the board exam in 2004, the same year that she got her first client. With 10 years of experience under her belt, Kathz loves working on diverse projects, both large and small.

Her design style highlights a modern touch, clean and edgy yet simple and functional. As a freelance interior designer, her projects include residential, condominiums, offices, and clinics. She also works with suppliers abroad for out-of-the-country projects. Her designs are highly appreciated and admired by foreigner clients.

Kathz is highly motivated to design outstanding projects as well as open to innovation to be able to deliver the dream interiors of clients. She can create aesthetically pleasing spaces that represent the lifestyle and tastes of clients while meeting their need for a functional space.
