As an architect and interior designer, Edwin T. Enriquez brings with him not just a unique vision, but the necessary skills to see the vision through. With years of experience in constructing, renovating and even purchasing, he has a deep understanding of the entire design process.
Edwin graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 1985 with a degree in B.S. Architecture. He took the board exam for Architecture in January of 1986 and enrolled in the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) in the same year. He worked as a Purchasing Manager for Ayala Hotels, Inc. before staring his own firm, now known as ETEnriquez Architectural and Interior Design, in 2000.
After several years of teaching at PSID, he thought of using popular Filipino songs as design inspirations for the 2013 PSID Design Exhibit entitled OPM: Obra Para sa Musika. Just like the songs that they featured, his idea turned out to be a hit – OPM now holds the distinction of being the most-viewed PSID exhibit in its 46 years.
After nearly two decades in the design industry, Edwin has developed a style all his own – an International Modern look with traditional Filipino materials and accents. His “International Filipino” design is seen in his residential and commercial projects, which includes the XO Bistro Filipino in Salcedo Village, Makati and Century Mall.
