Wilmer E. Lopez is the President and Creative Director of Space Encounters, an interior design firm that specializes in interior branding and mid-century modern furniture. He is top-of-mind when it comes to creative industrial spaces; industrial being the perfect palette to bring out a client’s personality and corporate values. His most prominent works include the interior rebranding of popular quick-service brands Greenwich Pizza and Chowking. His work with Hole in the Wall, a sprawling food court that has become a community of good food lovers, has drawn admiration and praises from design magazines. His other interior design accomplishments include the interior rebranding of Digital Walker, Sizzlin’ Steak, John and Yoko, Urban Athletics, and the micro-apartments of MyTown.
He continues to design furniture for the showroom, considering it his creative playground where he develops new designs that challenge conventions. He travels occasionally to experience new cultures and points of view that would later on reflect on his design.
