Looking at beautiful photos of interiors can be addicting—especially if design inspiration is available right at your fingertips, 24/7. Before you know it, hours have passed and you’ve saved tons of pegs for your dream home.

As our website turns two years old this year, we’ve decided to shine the spotlight on one of your favorite topics—small spaces! These homes aren’t just pretty, they also pack a punch when it comes to storage solutions, catchy color palettes, and furniture that would make anyone want to stay at home all day. Check out our amazing top 10 and see if your picks made the cut:

10. A 30sqm Shabby Chic Apartment

It can be difficult to imagine that this unit was once rented by a group of male students. When the contract ended, owner Beam Mariano decided to give the home a facelift using handmade pieces and details that she made on her own. Perhaps one of the reasons why many fell in love with this home is the fact that it's a true labor of love! Beam painted the walls, put up the wallpaper, and even applied the vinyl flooring by herself.

9. A 22sqm Nature-Inspired Condo

A pop of orange in a small space? It can work and this unit is a testament to that. Design consultants Chico Velas and Melwyn Arrubio of Boxform Interior Design also chose earth colors and wooden elements to give this home a hotel-like feel that the owners wanted.

8. A 99sqm Condo with Space-Saving Solutions

After a long and tiring day, we just want to be enveloped in warmth and comfort. These two things easily come to mind just with the sight of this inviting living area. Green topiaries and mini plants liven up the space and make it more welcoming. Meanwhile, a muted color palette and customized pieces make it look bigger than it really is.

6. A 36sqm Unit Inspired by Paris

As much as possible, we want our spaces to reflect our style and preferences. While some homeowners opt to decorate their spaces inspired by their favorite shows or movies, there are some who turn to travel destinations for inspiration. This 36sqm unit designed by interior designer Van Acuna-Solana takes its cue from the most romantic city in the world, Paris.

Aside from the sweet palette of pink and neutrals, you also need to see the dining nook that's reminiscent of a quaint Parisian cafe.

5. A 25sqm Compact Home Owned by Newlyweds

When it comes to limited spaces, we can't help but admire the tiniest of units. After all, how can you make such a small space comfortable and functional? To make the most of this unit, design consultant Elle Uy worked with space-maximizing ideas and pieces that can serve more than just one purpose. Light shades of blue, yellow, and green complete the look and open up the space.

How can you transform an old bungalow into a two-storey home? Architects Rowena and Boyong Aquino were able to accomplish this and more. Plenty of natural light welcome guests into the space—courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors. Suffice to say, it's mission accomplished for the owners. They were able to build a maaliwalas home filled with earthy colors and selected artworks.
