Must-Visit: Designer Blooms Café Is Worth The Trip Down South

Budding foodies and coffee shop regulars would know that the North is where the hip and happening cafés are. However, after spending an afternoon over at Designer Blooms Café in Molito Mall, we think things are about to change. 

From the mismatched pastel chairs to the vintage-inspired knickknacks, the up and coming café perfectly captures country-chic charm with feminine interiors and elements of the outdoors. If you're on the hunt for a hangout that feels like home, this is your perfect spot. 

Here are some things we loved most about this cafe that came straight out of Pinterest: 

Their creative use of mirrors 

Since Designer Blooms is quite quaint, the team created the illusion of a bigger space by mounting multiple mirrors on their brick-like wall. They used different sizes and styles, too, to keep the focal point of the decor interesting. 

RL Tip: To get a similar look without breaking the bank, visit flea markets and secondhand shops to score mirrors at affordable prices. Experiment with unique shapes for an extra design upgrade.  

Bringing a touch of green indoors 

Aside from healthy eats, Designer Blooms Café has indoor plants and fresh blooms for sale displayed on open shelves. This adds a lively feel to the space while showcasing what they have to offer.

RL Tip: Recreate this look at home by setting up an indoor garden. Try choosing plants that don't require a lot of sunlight like cacti and terrariums.

Pick the right accessories  

Accessories can make or break the overall look of a room. The team decided to go for fixtures made from distressed wood and printed ceramics to give it an extra rustic feel.
