Hang artworks

One of the easiest ways to spruce up an empty wall without repainting the entire space is to add big art pieces. A huge work of art can serve as a focal point on a plain wall. It will also add character and color to the space.

Open everything up

Many homeowners immediately buy one air-conditioner for each room but in some units this may not be necessary. Try opening the available windows to let more light and air in. You may keep some of the doors of the rooms open to maintain good air ventilation as well.

Inject character

Personal favorites like books and framed travel photos are no-fail ways to add more character to your space. Instead of keeping your favorite things inside closets, you may want to maximize your shelves by putting them out there for everyone to see and admire.

Prioritize proportion

A condo unit's interior dimensions are smaller compared to a townhouse, so it's advisable to go for built-in storage. By having built-in cabinets, even vertical spaces are used efficiently. You may also opt for multipurpose furniture—these pieces allow you to save on floor space and money, too!

Segregate areas accordingly

Living in condo units doesn't give you the freedom to build new walls and columns. Maximize a small unit by dividing areas according to function. You can do this by adding extra enclosures—or adding a room within a room. You may use shelves and curtains to divide spaces! You can also work with huge potted plants to conceal and separate areas.
