Shop of the Week: Heima Brixton
Bright and colorful furniture in the Heima Home and Lifestyle store in Kapitolyo, Pasig
After opening Heima Home and Lifestyle stores at indie-favorite Cubao X and designer hub LRI Design Plaza, Heima co-owner Rossy Yabut-Rojales decided that Brixton Street, Barrio Kapitolyo, Pasig would be a great location for their third store. Just like their first two branches, the Brixton store is filled with hip, colorful, and feel-good furniture and accessories.
Once you step inside, you’ll be greeted by all things cheerful: a wide selection of furniture pieces—in peacock green, tomato red, and taxi yellow hues. There are also small, novelty items that are cute, inspirational, and just plain quirky. The store also features a new metal line collection with metal mesh drawers (P30,100) and shelves (P36,900), as well as coffee tables with metal bases (P13,600 to P15,300). Rossy shares that they’ve also launched refurbished pieces like restored vintage typewriters (P12,000) and portable turntables (P8,200 and up).
Apart from this new collection, Heima Brixton is also home to a Design Café where customers can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. “If you want to talk about design, we’re encouraging na if you’re around the area, gusto mo lang tumambay sa Heima, you can stay,” Rossy explains.
