Arena Home is a house-turned-trove of Italian and other imported furniture which makes you feel as if you are merely dropping by to visit a very stylish friend. Once you step inside, you can take your pick among many setups in the vast floor space.

The classic Italian furniture with clean lines and relatively huge sizes will welcome you. “Affordable luxury” is the concept behind this store, according to account manager Rizanne Ong. But don’t let the size and appearance of the pieces deceive you—compared with high-end Italian brands, they offer them in a middle price range.

The selection at Arena Home runs the array of sofas, tables, lamps, and a few other accessories. “Our main pieces are the sofas, which have several configurations, so you are not limited to the size you see in the showroom. We can fit it to match your space. You can also choose the fabric. The fabric is removable so you can have it washed or dry-cleaned,” says Ong.

Expect Arena Home's display to change every month, as pieces are bought off the floor more quickly than you think. What will not change is the store’s promise of offering its “usual design preference of clean and streamlined furniture with very good quality that will not cost you an arm and a leg.”

Clean lines are characteristic of Italian furniture, but that doesn’t mean they lack excitement. Take, for instance, this oakwood coffee table with top resembling rows of wooden square plates, which inspired a designer-client to use it as a base for a glasstop table.

Arena Home is set up in such a way that clients can see right away how the furniture pieces would blend in a real home setting.

These nesting tables with melamine top are among the few quirky pieces in the store that create a lot of buzz among clients.
