- You may consider having freestanding shelves. These pieces are available in leading home stores, or you can hire your friendly neighborhood carpenter to customize one for you.
- When arranging books, group them by subject, by height, or even by color to give your shelf a neater look. Spruce it up by interspersing the books with quirky bookends and tchotchkes.
- For tiny condos, wall-mounted shelves are ideal if you want to save on floor space. You can opt for easy-to-install ones that can be readily bought, or let your carpenter make one for you.
