Find the perfect pieces for a simple but beautiful home

Enter a humble apartment in Japan and you will see a barebones setting of the most basic furniture in quiet, natural colors. The overall look is modern, urban, and at the same time indicative of their culture. This is because Japanese minimalism stems from Zen philosophy, wherein simplicity is not only a visual quality, but also an idea wherein objects are reduced to its purest, most effective forms.

If you want to have a minimalist room, offset the unfussiness of the furnishings with a play of textures and materials.
