RL News: Dimensione Launches Series 7 Project Manila
The signature Fritz Hansen chair gets a Filipino twist
Leading furniture store Studio Dimensione and The Republic of Fritz Hansen have teamed up to pay homage to prolific architect Arne Jacobsen and the famous Series 7 chair.
They have launched Series 7 Project Manila—a collaboration with renowned local architects to put their own spin into the iconic piece. Since the Series 7 was not created by Jacobsen for any specific context, it is open to reinterpretation by modern designers as demonstrated by the present pieces.

The list of designers include Architects Carlo Calma, Ed Calma, Gil Coscolluela, and Bong Recio, as well as Dean Joey Yupangco and Leandro V. Locsin Partners—whose creations reflect their cultrual background and design influences.
