Sometimes, one amazing furniture piece can make or break a room
Does your empty dining or buffet table look like you’re expecting guests who’ll never arrive? Set a lively mood by creating a tablescape, even when there’s no occasion at all.

Create one with the expected accoutrements – vases, candelabra, fruit bowls – but add other objects, too, like stacks of books and found objects. Once dinner is served, leave them in a place as instant conversation starters.
You may also want to try:
Flower arrangements are costly and die easily, but potted succulents last a long time. Arrange your living centerpiece in a series of pots, or fill a large bowl with multiple succulents to create a tabletop garden.
Bonus Tip: If you have fantastic dinnerware and glasses, put them out in the open as your tablescape. This way, when it’s time to eat, all you have to do is reach over for a plate!
