Q: I'm looking for hand railing fabricator/installer for the stairs of our house, and I’d like one that's made of wood with tempered glass as seen in modern homes. Any suggestions? —Cici Abad-Abang via Facebook

A: If elaborate curlicues are not for you, then a sleek wood-and-glass railing combo is the way to go. Most contractors may have various construction approaches to this, so ask your contractor first if they could actually do it. (For more information, you can contact contractor Jorge Faustino and interior designer Hannah Acab-Faustino at 0917-897-1363)
