Property of the Week: Summit Hotel Magnolia
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind staycation that indulges your imagination and satisfies your every need at the heart of Quezon City
Quezon City is gaining a renewed popularity as a hip and happening place with the emergence of new hot spots around the city. From laid-back communities such as Maginhawa to bustling cybercities like Eastwood, another locale is fast becoming the place to be: New Manila.
This neighborhood is slowly being transformed from a quiet and private part of the bustling city into an urban hub that has a good selection of restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The growing popularity of this area can be attributed to the rise of Robinsons Magnolia, which now has expanded to include a fine hotel ideal for a family staycation.
Summit Hotel Magnolia opened its doors to the public last December 2014, and is set to become one of Quezon City’s prime properties. See more photos below.

The family-oriented hotel was designed by Hisako “Chako” Hirayama, co-founder of Design HQ. Despite the predominance of clean lines and minimalist hues, each room retains a distinct personality that tells an interesting story for each space.
Its interiors were inspired by colorfully diverse cultures set amidst a light yet neutral palette that best complements the blacks, grays, and dark brown accents.
A yin-and-yang effect was achieved -- impactful yet easy on the eyes.

Guests will definitely feel nostalgic about in this Magnolia-themed room that “pays homage to the old Magnolia factory on whose grounds the hotel and mall were built,” says Hirayama.
Well-loved clasic Magnolia frozen delights are artfully listed on the wall, while the Magnolia logo is emblazoned on another part of the room. The distinctly recognizable old Magnolia milk bottles adorn the room
