Pretty Ways To Store And Organize Your Towels

Do more than simply hanging or folding them

Storing your towels may be easy and simple, but that doesn't mean you can't make something unique and chic out of it. Here are some ideas on how to organize your towels in style:

1. Hang them on towel hooks and towel bars in your bathroom.

This is an easy, no-brainer way of organizing your towels. When using towels, bring out those with same colors to make sure your bathroom wall won't look busy and cluttered. Allot adequate space between your towel hooks and bars so your towels will dry properly.

2. Maximize vertical space.

If you have a tight bathroom and there's not enough space for rows of towel hooks or bars, go vertical. You can use a freestanding, ladder-type rack or have a metal rack built in. Again, just make sure there is enough space between each bar for your towels to dry properly.

3. Store them in stacks and rolls.

If you have a shelf or cabinet dedicated to your towels, fold your towels neatly and arrange them in stacks according to their sizes. To keep your stacks from falling over, roll some towels and insert them in the gaps between the stacks.

4. Color-code your towels.

If you have a lot of towels that come in the same color, sort them by color. Your cabinet or shelf will look neater, and it will be easy for you to get the towel that you need.

5. Style your towel along with your toiletries.

If a towel is in use, be more creative in displaying it in your bathroom. Roll it and tie it using a yarn or craft twine. Bring out your favorite soaps and create a simple but stylish vignette on your bathroom counter.
