How will you describe your perfect home? For me, it should have these three important elements: comfort, cleanliness, and a rustic touch. There's something about the feeling of warmth that appeals to me, and that's the vibe you get upon entering the Wildwood showroom.

Wildwood is the passion project of friends Valerie Chua, Erin Lim, and Aleyn Comprendio. Inspired by their travels to Scandinavian countries and love for everything woodsy, they have decided to set up an online shop that is strongly influenced by Nordic and Japanese culture.

The main idea is to source one-of-a-kind decor items from around the world and bring them back to Manila to be sold at affordable prices. They have an extensive collection of pillows, rugs, tablecloths, planters, and books that everyone will love.

"Everything has to match our personal style or something that we would want to display in our homes," Aleyn shares when asked how they were able to come up with well-curated pieces. They have decided to limit the number of the goods as they want to avoid commercialization.

Wildwood also takes pride in having a space where visitors can take part in art collaborations and workshops. Their amply lit 35sqm studio has a kitchen, a bluetooth sound system, and can accommodate aound 10 to 12 guests.

To learn more about Wildwood, follow them on Instagram. You can also visit their new website: wildwoodstore.com. For inquiries, you can email hello[at]wildwoodstore.com.

*Ed's note: Wildwood plans to start processing orders and shipping around mid-March. All warehouse visits are by appointment only. For updates, make sure you follow their social media accounts.
