On Our Wishlist: The Lego Architecture Studio Set

Create a replica of your dream home with these mini building blocks

Shares

Most of us grew up playing with Lego. Can you still remember the tall buildings and other architectural wonders that you created using those blocks? We're sure that each project that you have accomplished inspired you to build a dream home someday.

When it comes to planning and designing our own homes, we usually depend on magazines and online photos. Once we've gathered all of our inspirations, we create a mood board—complete with color swatches and samples of fabric. But what if you can actually create a model of your home using these well-loved pieces? Your finished project can even be used as decor in the living area!

With the Danish toy company's Lego Architecture Studio, you have over 1,200 pieces of 76 unique components like chamfered wedge-shape blocks and to simple bricks to work with. In article published by Dezeen magazine, it is said that the new set of building blocks is aimed at the architecture and design community.

Missing the bold colors of blue, yellow, and red? The Architecture Studio features white and transparent bricks. The elements are kept simple, to make it easier for users to create small and large-scale models.

To strengthen its appeal to architects, engineers, and construction industry professionals, it also has a guide book that includes thematic examples, diagrams, and sample projects built using the 1,200 bricks.

Here's hoping that we get our very own kit just in time for Christmas!
