Nostalgic About London? Make It Your Home!
Let these four photos show you how
All of us have a special place where we hope to live in someday. Aside from the beautiful islands of our country, there are days when we simply can't help but dream about lush landscapes and captivating landmarks that we only get to see in photographs.
Since I often find myself in a constant state of wanderlust, I always think about big cities and the charming countryside. One of my dream destinations is London—there is something about having tea while looking at the magnificent London Bridge that I find incredibly appealing.
If you also hope to live in the same city, you can turn your home into a haven that's reminiscent of a London flat. Here are four photos and ideas to inspire you:

Start by trying to work with a theme. In the living area, you can showcase the colors of the Union Jack—the symbol that will instantly remind you of the UK. Choose an accent piece that can help set the tone of the room and work from there. Complete the look with touches of red, blue, and white.
RL Tip: Try checking out John Lewis at The SM Store for finds that you can add to your space.

If you're decorating the dining area, you can keep things simple to avoid a cluttered look. A wall accent can catch your guests' attention without going over the top. Choose a framed print that showcases the London Eye or the King's Cross railway station.

Who doesn't love The Beatles? Go bold and turn your entire bedroom wall into a mural that pays homage to one of the most iconic bands of all time. This can instantly liven up the room—especially if you have plain walls and neutral-colored accessories.

To keep the London vibe going, choose furniture pieces that have vintage charm. These must-haves can give your space a warm, Shabby chic feel of an English cottage even if you're staying in a modern flat.
