Jumpstart Your Day: Take a Peek Inside Taylor Swift's NYC Apartment

The singer's penthouse can be your next home inspiration

Without a doubt, Taylor Swift is one of the most followed celebrities today. You've seen her music videos and magazine covers, you've read articles about her and her friends, and we're more than sure that you can sing along to one or two of her songs. But aside from her music and her taste in fashion, did you know that she also has an eye for a cozy and unique home style?

We stumbled upon her New York City apartment and we can't help but love the space. The 7-bedroom, 5-and-a-half-bath penthouse has been the pop star's home for almost a year and it has served as a venue for her well-documented (read: Instagrammed) parties and events. See the snapshots below:

Taylor's kitchen is airy and spacious. Since she loves to bake goodies with and for her friends, it's just perfect that they have room to move around! The island/breakfast nook is perfect for sharing stories while munching on cookies, too!

Get the look: Achieve a similar feel by opting to have a small kitchen island. Depending on the size of your home, choose the perfect layout that can maximize every inch of space. If you cannot accommodate an island similar to Taylor's, you can always have a foldaway table to save on precious floor space.

The living area is also the perfect place to entertain guests and friends. Since Taylor loves having her friends over, it's important to have enough seating options to accommodate everyone! The space is dominated by bold colors while the huge windows let natural light into the room.

Get the look: Depending on the style that you want to achieve, you may also opt to work with dark and bold colors. Anchor the space using an area rug. If you have a small living area, you may also add floor pillows as extra seating options. Keep the space open by working on the arrangement of your furniture.
