Filipinos love to eat and cook—making the kitchen one of the busiest areas at home. In some homes, the kitchen and dining areas are one and the same, that’s why it is very important to maximize the space and keep it clean and organized.

Here are six awesome kitchen organizing hacks that can help you do just that:

Pull-out Pantry

The available kitchen space may not be able to accommodate an extra pantry—making this hack essential. You can place this beside your refrigerator so you can get refrigerated and dry goods easily. Click here for the complete guide.

Chalkboard and Measurement Guide

Paint the inside of a cabinet door with chalkboard paint, and install hooks to help you hang measuring cups and spoons. Label the spoons per measurement and include measurement charts that can help you keep track of measurement equivalents.

Extra Storage inside Cabinets

A great way to maximize your cabinets is to put another storage shelf inside it. This makes more space since it can hold more items, as compared to just stacking your dinnerware one on top of the other.

Mason Jars for Spices

Among other things, mason jars are great for storage spices. Get creative and put magnets on their lids, fill them with different spices, and put labels at the bottom. Once done, stick them to the side of your refrigerator to create a "Spice Wall."

RL Tip: You can also screw their lids on to a piece of wood and install it under your overhead cupboards.

Pegboard Dish Organizer

Make your dish drawer more organized by installing pegboards. Plates move around when drawers are opened and closed. Pegs can help you create more stable stacks, thereby avoiding broken and chipped plates, bowls, and cups.

Under-the-Sink Organization

We are guilty of stashing cleaning materials and trash bags under the sink! But don't overlook this space! For easy organization, install a tension rod inside so you can hang your spray bottles and cleaning products.

Extra plastic boxes and baskets that fit perfectly inside the cabinet are great for organizing other cleaning materials. You may want to use baskets and bins with handles to make it easier for you to grab these must-haves when you're cleaning the house.
