3 Ways to Style a Shared Bedroom for Kids
Create a functional space that's organized and versatile
Styling your kids' space is fun and easy—especially if you already have a chosen theme and design in mind. If the room is meant to be shared by two or three of your kids, it's advisable to have a space that can be enjoyed by boys and girls. Be guided by these helpful ideas:
Pick the right colors
According to interior designer Hannah Acab-Faustino, turquoise, yellow, and beige are good colors to work with as these hues add a relaxing and youthful vibe to the room. If you're planning to paint the room white, you may opt to work with colorful accessories.
Work with sturdy furniture pieces
You should think about having a room that can stand the test of time. Choose pieces that they can still use even when they are already in their teens such as sturdy tables and chairs. Consider having quality cabinets as well.

Provide ample storage
If you live in a small space, you must also prioritize storage. Opt for pull-out drawers and wall-mounted shelves to store your kids stuff toys and reading materials. Consider having multipurpose furniture such as a toy chest that can also serve as a bench. You may also opt to have a sofa bed, too.
