3 Easy Ways to Keep Your Floor Tiles Clean and Sparkling

No need for retiling!

Floors contribute to the overall look of the home more than you think. A lot of homeowners choose ceramic tiles as these pieces are not only stylish, they are durable and can withstand a lot of elements, too. However, time can take its toll on ceramic flooring, and you might have to deal with old and moldy tiles over time. Keep your floors shiny and looking new with the help of these tips:

Learn basic maintenance

Since tiles are glazed, it can be slightly resistant to dirt. Sweep or vacuum your floors regularly to keep them from getting dull. For stains, mud, and light dirt build-up, you can scrub and clean it with the aid of a mild detergent.

RL Tip: When cleaning tiles, make sure you change the water often as dirty water can leave cloudy marks.

Deep clean once in a while

If tile cleaners aren't available, you can use fresh lemon juice or diluted vinegar to keep the tiles from getting grimy. Natural cleaning isn't just great for the environment; it helps you keep within your budget, too.
