4 Things You Need For An Efficient Entryway
Whether you have a spacious entryway or a compact foyer, these tips can come in handy
It's safe to say that no one likes rushing out of the home just to get to school or work in time. To beat the stress, many of us are on the lookout for ways to simplify our routines. The secret to keeping the home running smoothly? A neat and efficient command center! Here are some tips to help you get started:
1. Create a seating area for last-minute errands.
Carve out a small spot near the entrance of your home—locate your landline here, a notepad for messages, and a corkboard with a list of important numbers. You can also add a bin of your favorite magazines underneath the table so you would have something to read if you ever find yourself killing time before you leave.
2. Add a keyholder
If your home is too cramped for an actual family command center, a simple key holder would suffice. Label each key nail with names or the area it's for, and you can use bullclips to pin important messages or a perpetual calendar.
3. Assign a drawer to each family member
Get a chest of drawers or a set of boxes, assign each drawer to a family member, and add stick-on labels. This will help you avoid clutter as each family member’s bills and letters are in their respective drawers.

4. Put a bills folder together
Make sure you remember to pay every bill by compiling them in a single place! Collect water and electricity bills, credit card bills, village association letters, and school notices. File them immediately to control the clutter. This also keeps you from losing important documents.
