What can you do with a 24sqm homeThe Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) graduating students explore the possibilities through Studio 24, an interior design exhibit with 24 different units that measure 24 square meters each.

One of the 24 spaces is a studio unit meant for a businessman and a graphic artist who are both travel bloggers. Here are the 5 things that we liked most in this particular space:

The Relaxing Color Scheme

Graduating students Celine Sarona, Raziel Bungay, Karl Dioso, Kristine Mangaoil, and Sarrah Paco chose blue-and-white to pay homage to classic Greek design style.

The Decorative Arches

The students also used decorative arches commonly seen in Morrocan and Mediterranean-style houses throughout the unit.

The Customized Furniture

Since the space is so small, the students designed furniture pieces that would perfectly suit the area. The white three-seater sofa even has hidden drawers that could be used to store different belongings. Facing it is a lift-up coffee table that can also be used to keep personal items.

The Open Shelves

Instead of a traditional accent wall or framed artwork, the wall behind the customized pieces are adorned with shelves. These shelves are used to display unique pieces, including an antique Argus C3 camera and brass teapots.

The Personalized Feel

This unit was especially made for a businessman and a graphic artist who share a common love for traveling. Apart from sharing their adventures and experiences online, they also want to express their passion for breathtaking destinations in their beautiful home. Since the design, colors, and even the furniture were all chosen specifically for the homeowners, the space becomes extra special for them.

Studio 24 will run from October 3 to 31, 2015 at the Ronac Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Magallanes, Makati City. Admission is free.
