Summer is here and you know what that means—kids are on vacation and in a hurry to bust out their Playstations or Xboxes. While there's no problem letting them spend their free time playing and hanging out, a few summer classes to expand their knowledge and skill can't hurt. Find one that matches their interests, here are a few popular workshops thay can enroll in: 

What: A 5-day summer workshop for kids including art classes and first-hand store training

When: March 20-June 2, 2017. Click here for the complete schedule of shifts.

Where: Branches may vary. Please visit you nearest participating McDonald’s store to inquire about the schedule

How to join:  Sign up for the McDonald's Kiddie Crew here. Fee is P650 inclusive of a t-shirt, cap, ID, bags, training supplies and meals. 

What: An 8-session archery class for young beginners 

When: March-June 2017. Click here for the complete schedule of classes. 

Where: 5/F Intrawest Center, #33 Annapolis St. Brgy. Greenhills, San Juan

How to join: To enroll or book a trial, call 544-3598. Fee is P8,500 for new students and P6,500 for returning students.

What: An annual event designed to train children physically and mentally through sports

How to join: To enroll, you can visit the MILO website.

What: A special two-day program designed for kids aged 10-16 years old which involves creating both coffee-based and non-alcoholic beverages

When: April 11 - 12 and May 29 - 30, 2017 

Where: 18/F Atlanta Centre, 31 Annapolis Street, Greenhills, San Juan 

How to join:  Sign up for the Junior Barista Workshop here. Fee is P4,500. 

What: Heroes' Adventure: Rescue Mission is a summer program that teaches children competitive robotics literacy through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
