It's no secret that tiny homes can be tough to furnish as you have very limited room to work with. However, while it poses a challenge, it is possible to ace it with the right philosophy—when shopping for for small spaces it's important to ask the question, "How many things can I use this for?" before speeding off to the checkout counter. To help you out, we've listed down five things that should be on top of your list:

1. A stack of stools

There is nothing more useful and versatile than a bunch of wood or iron stools. It can serve as extra seating in the dining area, a step ladder when reaching for something high, and a makeshift side table for holding your drink or a book. The best part? You can stack them up in a corner when not in use.

2. Big mirrors

If you've styled a space before, this hack might be familiar to you. Putting up large mirrors can instantly make a tight room feel bigger and brighter—strategically place it accross a window to maximize natural light.

3. A foldable table or a desk with wheels

For compact spaces, it is important to invest in pieces that you can rearrange or move out of the way whenever you need to—especially large items like tables. Find one that can serve as a dining table, a study desk, or even as a workspace for crafts.
