We're sure that you've seen lovely setups featuring succulents and you can't wait to add them to your home, too! It's not just easy to style and decorate these wonders—they are easy to care for too!

Sucker for Succulents owner Jeng Bernardo-Cabrera shares a couple of easy must-dos to guide you:

DO start with one kind of succulent

You won't feel overwhelmed and you can care for your plant if you have one kind to begin with. Pair it with a pretty planter. Once you've mastered the art of styling and caring for your plant, it's the right time to add a new kind.

DON'T place them in dim corners

If you want succulents as indoor plants, remember to bring them out once in a while to get enough sunlight.

DO your research or ask a supplier

Since there are different kinds of succulents, there’s no one formula in taking care of them. Be observant! “Pag napansin ko na parang ayaw nung plant dito, ililipat ko,” says Jeng. Feel free to ask suppliers and other gardeners to ask for tips and foolproof tricks.

DON'T forget to water them once a week

Succulents store water in their stems, that’s why they don’t need to be watered daily. A weekly dose of water can do the trick. Worried about the amount of water that you will give your succulents? You can work with a spray bottle like Jeng.
