Things you need:

  • Fabric of your choice (Linen and quilting cotton works well!)
  • Fabric paint or acrylic craft paint
  • Old toilet paper or paper towel rolls
  • Old newspaper (To prevent your paint from bleeding onto furniture)
  • Flat dish

How-To:

  • Pour a good amount of paint into a flat dish to help you coat the bottom of your toilet paper roll easily.
  • Start dipping and stamping in rows (or any pattern you like). You can mark your fabric using a pencil to make sure your lines are straight and even, too.
  • Let the paint dry overnight before using it or displaying your masterpiece.

RL Tip: If you want to switch colors, make sure you use a different roll or the other end of the one you're using to avoid muddy results.
