- Write your own initials on a piece of paper and cut it out. While using a ruler, make sure that your design is proportionate to your carving rubber.
- Using a craft knife, cut a piece of carving rubber and place your design face down on the rubber. Polish the back of your design with your fingernail or an eraser. Continue doing this until the whole design is transferred to the carving rubber.
- Once your design is on the rubber paper, start cutting the outer and inner lines of your initials.
- After carving, blow off the rubber dust from your rubber design. Try pressing your stamp on the stamp pad, then do a sample print on a piece of paper.
