DIY: Recycled Bottle Decor
Turn old bottles and jars into chic tabletop accents for your space
The weekend gives us an opportunity to decorate and organize our space. While we can buy a few decor pieces and accessories if the budget allows, you can always look around the house to look for items that you can repurpose. If you have old bottles and jars taking up space in the kitchen or storage area, you can easily turn them into tabletop decor using glue gun! Let this quick project show you how.
Crafts by Charisse Reyes of Space Encounters.
- Glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Remove labels from the bottles by soaking them in water. Clean the bottles thoroughly.
- Sketch the design you want on paper. Put it inside the bottle. It will serve as your guide when you trace the design with glue gun.
- Use glue gun to trace the design on the outside of the bottle.
- After tracing, let the glue cool completely.
RL Tip: Place different flowers in each vase. You may then use the bottles as decor pieces in the living, dining, and kitchen areas. You may even place one on top of your bedside table!
