- Old lamp
- White plastic bags
- Scotch tape
- Double-sided tape
1. Fold your plastic bags into a 3”x3” square. Cut them, producing a lot of little plastic squares. The quantity of plastics you need depends on size of the bag and dimensions of the lamp.
2. Turn each piece into a bud by holding the center then pulling the rest of it upwards.
3. Put a strip of scotch tape on the bottom part of the bud and stick it on the upper part of lamp. Repeat until you cover the whole shade of the lamp. Make the buds overlap a bit to make the shade look puffier.
4. For the last layer, tape the lower half of the buds on the inside of the lampshade to hide the bud’s edges. Then, pull the upper part of the bud on to the outside of the lamp and securing it onto the hollow parts using a double-sided tape.
