You don't need to do a major renovation or spend big amounts just to be able to give your home a new look. Tweak some of your pieces, bring out old decor, and exercise your creativity!

You can paint, sew, draw, or even try to reupholster your old furniture! Here are DIY ideas that will surely make this long weekend count.

Decorate with your accessories

Don't just leave your necklaces and bracelets tangled inside drawers. Put them on display using wooden frames or an earring tree that you crafted on your own.

Give your jalousie windows an upgrade

Spruce up old and plain windows by adding quirky and colorful decals. You may even hang fabrics with interesting prints and textures for a more creative touch.

Work on your table using leatherette

Create a rustic vibe in your space without spending much. You can use a staple gun to attach it to the table.
