Throwing together various furniture pieces and accessories of different styles, time period, colors, and textures does not always result in a cohesive eclectic vibe.
Some people think that just because they mix various elements in an interior, they have in essence achieved an eclectic style. “Sometimes, they just end up with a cluttered interior (or what we call in the industry ‘chopsuey’) without any unity or harmony among the elements,” says Tess.
