What can you do with a 24sqm homeThe Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) graduating students explore the possibilities through Studio 24, an interior design exhibit with 24 different units that measure 24 square meters each.

One of the 24 spaces is a studio unit for a 27-year-old scriptwriter. Here are the four things that we admired in this Neo-Gothic-inspired sanctuary:

The Unique Neo-Gothic Details

Graduating students Eloisa Moreno, Leah Sarenas, Cara Duhaylungsod, Patricia Alcantara, and Geraldine Oliva turned a bare space into a cozy haven with a dramatic look.

They used classic Neo-Gothic details like clustered columns, pointed arches, and ribbed vault ceiling to make the bachelor pad stand out.

The Appealing Color Scheme

Another thing that we loved in this bachelor pad is the classic color palette! The color scheme of gray, brown, and white is an ideal choice for most man caves. A few yellow touches here and there brightened up the neutral-hued home.

The Comfortable Seats

We also liked this 24sqm unit because there are a lot of inviting seats for the homeowner to choose from. He can curl up with a good book or enjoy a good night's sleep on the white daybed. He can also sit down and put his feet up on the wingback chair and ottoman.

The Eye-catching Home Office

Since the homeowner is a scriptwriter, the students assigned a space that he could use for working! Interestingly enough, the students didn't just create a practical and functional work station — they also made it Instagram-ready by using a stained glass window and a textured ceiling treatment.

Studio 24 will run from October 3 to 31, 2015 at the Ronac Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Magallanes, Makati City. Admission is free.
