We’ve seen almost a hundred small spaces that prove we can still have a comfortable and efficient home even in a limited floor area. While it’s always surprising and inspiring to see how one can make the most of the available space, we can’t help but look into the specific areas that they were able to carve out within a compact unit.

Since the kitchen is one of the busiest areas at home, it would be interesting to see how it’s kept pretty, clean, and functional. To give you ideas on how you can spruce up your own space, here are eight well-equipped cooking havens that you would surely love:

In this 33sqm condo with a modern minimalist color scheme, architect Jaii de Guzman decided to transform the hallway into a dining and kitchen area. To save on space, the architect opted for a bar paired with bar stools. Meanwhile, the kitchen is kept white and pristine to avoid a cramped look.

Going beyind the sleek finish of the cabinets in this kitchen, owner and architect Arlene Maslog used fantastic cabinetry to hide the unsightly beams and piping in this part of the home.

Since kitchens in condos are often small, it can be considered as a bonus if you have a spacious one—allowing you to install as many cabinets and shelves as possible. To further improve the walls and vertical space, you may want to invest in a backsplash or tiles that create an impact.

In this kitchen, interior designer Jean Suzanne Sy broke the monotony of white walls by working with rustic printed tiles. She completed the look with woven baskets and wooden shelves to inject warmth into the space.

To complement the rustic and industrial details in the home, interior designer Jean Suzanne Sy created a classic country kitchen by working with wooden storage pieces and a one-of-a-kind wooden countertop.

Since the owner loves to cook, interior designer Kristine Neri-Magturo made sure that she has enough space for her ingredients, utensils, and well-loved recipes. The Sheridan Grey Kitchen Island from Crate and Barrel can be used as extra prep area while the chalkboard walls are perfect when writing down grocery lists measurements.
