6 Ways To Reuse Magazines at Home

Gather your old issues and turn them into chic home must-haves

Do you love collecting magazines? If you have really old piles that date back to five or 10 years ago, it might be best to turn them into something useful at home instead of letting them turn into visual clutter.

Here are six ways that you can do to turn your old copies into decor pieces and accents.

Gallery Wall

Choose your top five or ten covers and turn them into wall accents. You can create a gallery wall showcasing memorable covers by simply placing your magazines in stylish frames then hanging them on one wall.

DIY Bedside Table

Craft your own bedside table by stacking magazines! Check the height and make sure it's close to the height of your bed. You may choose to have a uniformed look by using magazines with plain spines or be more creative by choosing ones that have colorful spines.

Once your bedside table is ready, put a couple of decor pieces on top like a small plant and a clock. Consider the weight of items that you will add just to make sure that the pile won't topple.

Wall Art

Liven up a boring wall by adding wall accents using colorful pages from magazines. You may opt to have shapes and designs made of rolled pages. You can also work on a collage featuring magazine clippings. Secure the artwork properly using a strong adhesive.

Hanging Decor

Aside from coming up with a gallery wall, you may also hang your favorite covers using old hangers! Simply part the magazines in the middle then place them in the hanger. You can add hooks to the wall where you can put the hangers or you may also use adhesives.
