1. Display the essentials and keep the rest in bins or drawers.

You may cover your vanity with beautiful fabric as well as use attractive vessels to hold your beauty essentials. Bring out the supplies that you’ll need and store the rest in your drawers.

2. Use pretty dishes or bowls.

Use a pretty bowl, jar, or saucer to hold your foolproof favorite lipsticks, glosses and everyday staples so you don’t need to rifle through drawers and bags.

3. Compartmentalize your drawer.

Use a kitchen flatware divider and used plastic containers to create sections in your drawer for organizing other makeup and tools. Store makeup so you can see shades and labels to save time.

4. Use re-sealable sandwich bags!

For easy, on-the-go beauty, stash your daily makeup in a re-sealable sandwich bag in your purse. You’ll always see what product you’re reaching for, and the bag is almost too easy to clean—just wipe down with a paper towel!

5. Recycle your old products for play time and dress up.

Collect all the makeup you haven’t used in the last six months and place them in a plastic container. These items may come in handy when your kids play dress up or if a costume party in time for Halloween comes up.

6. Be creative and make your own palette!

Merge all your single eye shadows and blushes into one big palette and rid your vanity of bulky pots and compacts. Pry each pan of makeup from its case with a butter knife, and dot the base with glue. Gently press into a pencil box or empty CD case and let pans dry overnight. If you’ve got lots of makeup, try organizing it according to shades, or put together evening makeup shades in one box, and day makeup in another.
