6 Ways to Conceal Your Gadgets at Home

Say goodbye to tangled cords and avoid misplaced phones with these ideas

After cleaning your closet and keeping your essentials in place, look around your space. Check the tables and your room. Do you see dangling wires and chargers taking up too much space? We often leave chargers, cords, and earphones lying around the house. This makes it harder for us to locate these items when we need them and it adds to clutter as well.

Never lose another charger and keep your space neat with these easy hacks.

Use reusable and resealable plastic bags

Keep cords and some chargers organized by placing them inside resealable plastic bags. Avoid tangled cords by securing each with a rubber band.

Conceal with cloth

Do you have a centralized charging station at home where all gadgets are plugged in? Conceal the wires and plugs by adding a curtain. You may use this as an opportunity to add an accent to your space as well. Choose pastel-colored curtains or one with an interesting print.

Add decor to your extension cords

If you really can't conceal your cords, you can turn them into decor using some burlap twine. This mini project can immediately add a rustic vibe to your space.

Use clothespins as cord organizers

No need to buy a fancy earphone organizer! Keep your earphones in place using organizers that you crafted on your own. Wooden clothespins can come in handy for this project. Simply decorate each with washi tape and you're all set!

Create a charging station

Turn an old wooden box into a charging station. You may paint it or use wallpaper to cover the surface. Once done, you can place your finished project on your bedside table or kitchen counter.

Maximize drawers

Dedicate one drawer for gadgets and cords. You may even compartmentalize it by allotting space for phones, tablets, and other gadgets. This drawer can even lead to a power outlet so you can have a concealed charging station. You may drill a hole at the back of the table or cabinet so the cords won't be an eyesore.
